BOYUN Industrial Filtration Solutions – Ceramic Vacuum Disc Filter
BOYUN’s PG Series vacuum disc filter provides continuous solid–liquid separation for filterable mineral concentrates and mine tailings. Models from 5 to 144 m² combine a compact filtration footprint, replaceable cloth sectors and configurable vacuum equipment for stable, high-throughput dewatering.

The PG Series is the practical starting point when a mineral slurry forms a stable cake under vacuum and the plant values continuous throughput, flexible cloth selection and maintainable mechanical systems.
Multiple discs provide substantial filtration area within a compact footprint. The rotating cycle supports steady feed, filtrate removal and cake discharge.
Filter-cloth permeability, weave and material can be matched to particle retention, filtrate clarity, cake release and slurry chemistry.
Sector plates, cloth bags, clamps and related wear parts can be inspected and replaced without treating the entire disc as a single consumable.
Iron, copper and lead-zinc concentrates; filterable mineral tailings; and other slurries that produce a permeable, mechanically releasable cake.
Each sector passes through the same continuous sequence. Filtration rate and cake moisture depend on how the slurry responds during every stage.
Agitation keeps solids suspended while the lower sectors enter the conditioned feed.
Vacuum draws liquid through the cloth and deposits solids on the sector surface.
Continued vacuum removes interstitial water as the cake leaves the slurry level.
Air passes through the cake during the drying arc before the discharge point.
Timed blowback and mechanical assistance release the cake before cloth washing.
Application pages explain ore-specific feed behavior and selection questions. A mineral name is a starting point; representative slurry data remains the basis for sizing.
The table lists selected standard configurations from BOYUN’s current product data. Motor selection, vacuum arrangement, materials and dimensions may change with the slurry and project scope.

Confirm voltage, frequency, altitude, corrosion allowance, cloth, vacuum pumps, filtrate receivers, controls and battery limits in the technical proposal.

Reliable filtration depends on the complete air and liquid path. BOYUN reviews the rotating assembly, cloth sectors, distribution valve, vacuum system and cake discharge as one operating system.
Sector support, cloth fit and sealing affect filtrate clarity, vacuum loss and replacement time.
Pump selection, receivers, piping and valve timing must maintain useful vacuum without carrying excess liquid.
Agitation and feed control reduce settling and uneven cake formation across the discs.
Blowback, cloth condition and mechanical settings work together to release cake cleanly.
