Manufacturing Controls Follow the Equipment Build

Each project should move through controlled drawings, material identification, fabrication, machining, assembly, coating and final inspection, with hold points matched to the customer’s quality plan.

1

Technical release

Confirm approved drawings, bill of materials, interfaces and inspection requirements.

2

Material control

Check specified materials and retain the required identification or supplier documentation.

3

Fabrication

Control forming, fit-up and welding against released dimensions and procedures.

4

Machining and assembly

Verify shafts, sealing faces, sectors, drives and rotating interfaces before final assembly.

5

Inspection and release

Record dimensional, functional, coating and documentation checks before shipment.

What customers can review

Evidence for Supplier Qualification

Procurement and engineering teams can request the documents relevant to their contract and inspection plan.

Technical

Drawings and data sheets

Approved dimensions, connections, utilities and performance basis define what is being built.

Quality

Inspection and test records

Project records can cover agreed incoming, in-process and final checks.

Delivery

Packing and interface review

Shipment preparation, lifting considerations and site responsibilities are confirmed before dispatch.

Visible equipment evidence

Manufacturing and Equipment Details

Use current project photographs and inspection records to verify the relevant capability rather than relying on generic claims.

Quality-management context: ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Practical answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Use these answers to prepare a useful discussion with BOYUN. Final equipment selection still depends on project data.

Why is representative slurry data required?
Mineral names do not define filterability. Particle-size distribution, mineralogy, clay, reagent chemistry, feed solids and temperature can change cake formation, permeability and release. Use the filterability test process when performance is commercially important.
What information should be sent for a preliminary review?
Provide duty, mineral, dry throughput, feed solids, particle size or P80, target moisture, operating hours, elevation and available utilities through the disc filter quote page.
Does BOYUN guarantee cake moisture from a mineral name?
No. A responsible target must be tied to representative feed data, test conditions and an agreed equipment and operating basis.

Define the Next Engineering Step

Share the slurry, dry throughput, feed solids, particle size and target cake moisture. BOYUN will identify missing data and recommend testing, sizing or a suitable filter configuration.
