Start with a Traceable Equipment and Issue Record

Support is more effective when the request includes the BOYUN project or serial reference, current drawings, operating data, alarm history, photographs and a clear description of production impact.

Project

Delivery and document coordination

Track approved scope, required inputs, milestones, packing, shipment and controlled documents.

Start-up

Installation and commissioning support

Provide remote or contracted site guidance after readiness and responsibility checks.

Operation

Diagnosis, training and parts

Review operating evidence, guide safe checks and confirm compatible replacements.

Geographic coverage

Support method, language, travel, visas, site access, local resources and response time are confirmed per project. This page does not claim an office, warehouse or technician in every country.

Support request

Information That Speeds Technical Review

Do not remove guards or approach moving equipment to collect evidence. Use safe, site-approved observation and records.

Equipment identityModel, serial/project number, location and service history.
Issue timelineWhen it began, frequency, recent work and production impact.
Process conditionFeed solids, PSD, throughput, vacuum, speed and cake results.

Response path

Triage Before Parts or Travel

The path depends on safety, production impact, available evidence and the contracted support scope.

1

Log request

Identify equipment, site contact and impact.

2

Screen safety

Stop unsafe operation and follow site escalation.

3

Review evidence

Compare process, mechanical and control symptoms.

4

Agree action

Set remote checks, parts review or site-support scope.

5

Close and learn

Record cause, action, settings and follow-up.

Lifecycle planning

Plan Service Before a Failure Stops Production

A practical support plan combines trained site staff, controlled documents, condition trends and critical spare parts.

People

Maintain role-based training

Operators, mechanical, electrical and process teams need different checks and limits.

Documents

Use current revisions

Keep manuals, drawings, parts lists and settings aligned with approved changes.

Spares

Prioritize by consequence

Consider installed quantity, wear rate, failure impact and confirmed replenishment time.

Safety before inspection or maintenance

Stop the equipment and isolate all hazardous energy that can cause rotation, vacuum, pressure, stored mechanical movement, electrical energization or chemical exposure. Follow the site lockout and permit procedure; inspection and maintenance must be performed only by authorized personnel.

Practical answers

Frequently Asked Questions

These answers support project preparation; the final recommendation depends on the actual duty.

Why is representative slurry data required?
Mineral names do not define filterability. Particle-size distribution, mineralogy, clay, reagents, solids and temperature can change cake formation, permeability and release. Use filterability testing when results matter commercially.
What should be sent for a preliminary review?
Provide dry-solids throughput, feed solids, particle-size data, target cake moisture, operating schedule, elevation and available utilities through the quote request.
Can BOYUN promise cake moisture from the mineral name alone?
No. A defensible target must be tied to representative feed data, test conditions, equipment scope and an agreed operating basis.

Define the Next Engineering Step

Share the feed, throughput, operating target and site constraints. BOYUN will identify missing information and recommend testing, sizing or the appropriate equipment scope.
